- Teams, Players, Substitutes
- Each team shall have a maximum of 10 players.
- Each team shall name 6 playing members or players for each match. Only 6 players shall take the court at any one time.
- Each team will have the opportunity to name a 7th player as a “super-substitute” who can either bat or bowl, but not both. This “super-sub” will need to named prior to the toss.
- Each team will have the opportunity to name an 8th player to be a fielding substitute. This player will not either bat or bowl. This “fielding substitute” will need to be named prior to the toss.
- There will not be any cross team substitutes. No player, once identified on one team may play or represent another team for the season.

- A team needs at least four (4) players to start a game.
- If a team has only 4 or 5 players, they shall bat only 8 overs ie. Or for 2 pairs of batsmen. They will still need to bowl 12 overs, with no more than 3 overs per bowler.
- Field of Play.
- If the ball hits the wall behind the black line ie: the plane of the stumps at the batting end, no runs shall be scored.
- If the ball hits the wall in line or in front of the black line ie: the plane of the stumps at the batting end, runs shall be scored as per normal protocol.
- No Balls
- Any ball bowled that passes above the waist of the batsman without bouncing shall be called a no-ball.
- Dead Balls.
- Any ball bouncing more than once shall be called a dead-ball and not counted in a “third-ball” count.
Rules For Knock out games: Very Important
- Registered players playing in a team are not allowed to play in other teams in case of short of players in other teams
- In case of short of players, a team can choose to play with available players. For example: if only 4 players show-up, the team is allowed to bat for 8 overs only. However, they have to bowl all 12 overs and number of overs per bowler would be divided evenly among the players.
- Extra players from same team are allowed to field as substitutes. However, they are NOT allowed to bat or bowl.
